Google's Experiment Failed ???

Well I see google has now changed the way we get paid again for refferals to their products and services.Back in Feb 07 they tried and experiment and I guess they weren't to happy about how it worked out for them . I know I was happy I liked getting paid for my efforts. So here is a shorten version of the email I received from them.

" As some of you may remember, in February 2007, as an experiment,
we raised the bounty paid (from $100 to $250) when a publisher you
refer brings in $100. We have decided to conclude this experiment
and return to the original paid bounty amount of $100. In
addition, we will no longer be offering the $5 bounty for the
first $5 that a referred publisher brings in or the $2,000 bonus
for referring 25 publishers earning $100 or more in any 180 day
period. $100 will be the only bounty paid for referrals to the
AdSense program.

If you're currently displaying referral units on your site
directing users to sign up for AdSense, read on below for details
about what to expect in the coming weeks.

In early January, your AdSense account will be updated to only
note the $100 payment for referring users to AdSense. You will

The answer is very simple. Go to your blogspot blog and open template and then edit mode or add or arrange page elements. The box that is your actual blog has a tab that says edit down at the bottom,click the edit tab and then click that box that says Show Ads Between Posts make sure you click the box so that there is a check mark in it..that will enable the ads to be shown .You can at this time change the colors that you choose and the sizes.Remember it takes up to 48 hours for Adsense to place the appropriate ads for your blogs but they will.

The concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name "ICE" ( In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as "ICE." For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference!

Hello Easyliving this is a VERY simple process if you are using a blogspot blog . To add the adsense to your blogspot blog sign into your google account and go to your blog and you will see a tab that says layout. Click on that tab and you can then see the page layout for your whole blog there. To add adsense you will see add a page element , open that and then you will see add adsense . Since you already have an adsense account all you have to do is choose the colors you want and the sizes you want. Rearrange the page elements by clicking and holding and dragging the page element to where ever you want it .Save changes.

Let me know when you have that done and your blog url so I can see what you have done with your blog.

Many of my readers were very happy that I did the post on the TOS of Adsense. they had no idea that you were not allowed to add your site with adsense on it to a free traffic site. I am very happy that they read the post and gained some awesome info and didn't lose their adsense account.
I was hoping for this blog to be just that ,a helpful tool for others using adsense . So my goal is to not only help you earn money with adsense but also follow all of their rules too so that you will never have to worry about getting your account banned.
Ok so lets go over a another big TOS of Adsense and that is asking others to CLICK YOUR ADS !!! That is the worst infraction and when (as they will) they find out about that your account will be banned and you will never be allowed another adsense account. So please take into account that yes you can earn great money with adsense if done properly so there is NO need to ever ask others to click on your adsense ads.
Adsense places ads on your site that when someone is doing a search for that term your site will come up and any ads you have on your page will be in that vein too. So if they came to your page and didn't see exactly what they wanted then you have given them other options with your adsense ads. Thats how it works.

Many people have never read the Terms of Service for adsense. I periodically go and re read them as they do sometimes change their polices on their TOS. I would suggest to everyone that either has an adsense account or is wanting to sign up to get one that they do at least briefy read through the TOS. I saw several sites on a traffic exchange site as well as a free traffic site to day as well .These are big no no's . This is a list of sites that are strictly prohibited with google adsense aid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs.
Also remember that asking others to click your ads will get your account banned and also if you have any type of wording like using phrases such as "click the ads," "support us," "visit these links," or other similar language.Also no arrows or signs pointing to any adsesne ads.
Take care to read the TOS if you want to keep your adsesne account.

Generate More Revenue with Refferal Products

Getting more out of your adsense with refferal products with adsense.By adding refferl buttons to your websites or blog not only can you increase your earnings with adsense but also your readers can get more out of their internet experience.With the refferal buttons you can call attention to them unlike the ads for content.
For example if you are using firefox and have a button on your blog for firefox tell your readers about your experience about firefox and how it has improved your interent experience. I myself have just started using firefox and actually love it. So much easier to use the IE and allows me to have multiple windows open at once for quicker web page to web page time. With the windows al open in a seperate tab you can see what you have open at all times.
Check out all of the refferal buttons at adsense to see which ones you use and that you can start to promote activeley on your website or blog.

Using The Ad Filter For Adsense

I have heard this a few times..why would I want my competitors ads running on my website or blog? If this is something that you do not want then there is a very easy fix for that and it's called the ad filter.very easy to use. All you will need to do is log into your adsense account at the top of the page you will see adsense set up. Click on the page and then you will see the tab across the top that says competitive ad filter. As an example I will use a sporting goods site . So if I owed a sporting goods store and I didn't want the competitors ads running on my pages I will add the the url that would look like this sportsgoods.com and adding the url to the adsense for content box will stop any ads running of the type.
Another example would be if you just wanted to block certain types of sport like footbal you would add this url sportinggoods.footbal.com and that will block any ads that have football in the domain.
There are many things at adsense that can help you so take the time to just go to google adsense and read a few things there. Have any questions I will be more then happy to answer them gfor you here.

I want to just touch on the subject of having too many adsense ads on page. You want your readers to return to your site but if when the first open your page and all they see are adsense ads everywhere thats not a great impression. I am sure that you have heard the old saying that you only get one chance to make a first impression. Well this is true in business as well .
When adding the adsense ads to your page don't slam your new or old readers with ads, let them see what they came to your site to see. Then if they don't see exactly what they were looking for at your site give them some options to go to.
You want your site to represent you and your business not the ads on your page.So take care when adding the adsense ads that you don't over do it and scare potential customers off .
This is one of the biggest don't that I see a lot of people making with their blogs and websites.Yes you can make alot of money with adsense but when done in moderation. Yes you will make more with your own products so remember that when placing your adsense ads on your page.making a good impression can go a long way with customers.

Well I have had a Technorati account for a year now but never really took to much notice of it until the past few months .What a wealth of information you can find at Technorati and then some . Adsense Channels ...adding url channels

This was asked of me today about why would I have my sites all on a channel? Well the biggest reason is to see what site is doing well and which site needs some help . You can track your CPM with each channel see what your CTR is too.
Adsense has two diferent channels to use a custom channel or a url channel . For now lets show you why you want to start using channels and how to add any of the sites that you already have in your account on a url channel.
To add a url channel go to adsense for set up, then you will see the tab channels. Click on the channels tab and a box that looks like a search box will show up click add channel, they will ask you to name the channel and then add the url of the channel into the search box. The name should be something that you will know where that channel is .Basically a way for you to tell one site from another that has adsense on it.
I mentioned CTR about that is click through rate which means the amount of clicks that you are getting on your ads compared to the amount of impressions it is recieving.
Adding a url channel will help you see what your CTR for that day is and start to help you optimize your adsense by watching to see what each channel is doing.

Wow was there this morning to see just what type of questions that others are wanting to know about google adsense and I see thousands of people there asking questions and not getting any answers. I feel bad for all of them and would love to help answer their questions. Many are asking just simple questions that can be answered here in minutes for them . So when you hear of anyone needing some answers about google adsense tell them to come here as I will answer their questions fast and will always be here to get the information that they will need to start to make money with their adsense.
Just remember that there are other ways to earn money with your computer well. So don't always get so involved in adsense that you over look some other great ways to earn money from home either.

If you are like me I am a much more visual person and I am much more apt to be able to do things if I have seen them done before. Trying to tell someone how to add the adsense codes can sometime be very tricky so here is a great video from google adsense that can help you with maybe some of the things that you maybe having problems with.

Google Adsense Ads and Where To Place Them

If you have a blog at blogspot then you have several options on where to place your ads. The recommendation is that the ads at the top left will be the ones that are looked at the most. Why no one knows.But when trying to find the placement of your ads use different things like the ads for content across the top of your blog but try them with no border and the blend template option.Any ad you place on your blog you will want to use the blend or match option as this makes the ads look more like a part of your blog and not blatant advertising.
In your sidebar you may want to add some links and one or two spots as well, for your viewers to have other options to look at if they aren't finding what they need on your site.look at it like this if they can't find what they need at my site at least I can earn something for sending them to another site that may have exactly what they want. Could also be that they will want to check out your competition and see what they have and come back to your site as well.
There is a few blogs to take a look at the uses the adsense ads very effectively and you hardly notice that there are ads anywhere in the blog as they are so well blended into the blog its self.

How do I enable my pages to show video ads?

If you'd like to display video ads, please make sure that you're using one of the supported video ad formats on your site and that you are opted in to image ads for that specific ad unit.

Note that as there is currently limited video ad inventory, you may not notice any ads on your site for some time. As our inventory grows, you may begin to see video ads appear on your pages. In the meantime, we recommend opting in to both text and image ads for your ads units to ensure you're getting the ads that represent the maximum revenue potential for you.

After my last post I had some readers wanting to know how they can do this as well.

How will I earn from video ads?

Your earnings from video ads will depend on the pricing of the specific video ads you display. Video ads can be either cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand-impressions. When paid on a CPC basis, you'll receive earnings for each valid click through on ad -- that is, a click on the display url or playing video that directs a user to the advertisers' website. When paid on a CPM basis, you'll be paid for impressions of the opening image, rather than plays of the video.

Keep in mind that video ads will compete alongside text and image ads to show on your pages. We'll only display a video ad on your page when it represents the maximum potential revenue for you.
Using video ads just may be something that you can try to add to your blog or website and see how well it can work for you .You can always play around with placement of your ads as well as the colors. I do recommend using the blend or match when adding the colors for your adsense ads as that makes them like part of the page and not ads sticking out there like a sore thumb.

I will be happy to help you Njuli to start to earn more with your adsense. When working at Flixya you will need to try and write blogs with some good keywords. You can do a search at google and yahoo for the highest paying keywords and also a search at both for the most searched for keywords or terms.Using your blog at Flixya write a blog using one or two of those keywords from the same niche . When writing the blog make sure that you use these keywords several time in your blog. Not only will a search engine pick up and send traffic to your blog but you will also be getting better paying clicks when a visitor to your blog sees an ad that they like.
Also at Flixya I have a blog there in the members help section Increasing your CTR read that as well. The reason behind this is that Flixya also has there ads running on all of your pages and by using this tip you will be taking there ads off and then just your ads will be showing.
You can also find photos or videos and do the same with them look for photos or videos that pertain to the keywords you found earlier and add those keywords in as your tags at Flixya.
I would also suggest that you subscribe as a reader to my blog here and then you can always ask questions or read more here to learn as you go.

I have noticed quite a few people have used the sign up for adsense here and I would like to let you know that anytime you need help just come back and leave a comment and I will answer your questions. There are no silly or dumb questions so feel free to ask. I want you all to be able to get the answers you need about adsense.
You can also check out other blogs about adsense maybe they will have they answers for you in their post already.I still go and read other blogs about adsense as I want to try and see what type of information that my readers need as well and by checking out other blogs about adsense I can see what type of questions are needed to be answered .
So you have signed up at adsense but still haven;t completed the process . What is your first question ? What site do I use as a url to place the adsense on. One of my readers suggested that I make a post on when people sign up at adsense how they need to use the correct info. Well I told him that why would someone not use their correct info??? duh... do they not want to get paid??
For some they don't think that they will ever make any money and that adsense is a scam. Well I am here to tell you that no adsense is not a scam its the real deal. I get a check each month from adsense myself and if you subscribe to my blog and start reading it and following what I am helping you to learn about adsense then I promise that you too will earn with adsense.
So when you are signing up at adsense make sure that you use your full name and any information that you need to fill out make sure its the correct information or you will never recieve payment from google adsense.

First I would like to say that Jason is the type

I was sitting here today thinking that I have been promoting adsense or bidverstier and some of my readers may not even have a site to use either of these on.So I would like to step back to the VERY beggining to help some of the newer people .
For any of you that do not have a social site or a blog then to be able to sign up for adsense you will need a url to submit to them when applying for an account. You can at this point do one of two things as I would rather you do them one at a time so you can use them to the best of your potential. You can go to any of the social networking sites that I have in listed in many of my blog and sign up for free and then you will go to "my account " page and see a url of your profile. Thats the url you will use to submit to adsense when applying for an account. The second option is to sign up at google for a blogspot blog. I would have to reccommend you sign up at one of the many great sites that I use as starting a blog is something you will need help with as well.

I was thinking that today I would list a few of the sites that I use for my adsense or bidvertiser. Some of these sites I use both on and that works very well too.
The first site is called Money Space Online I have to say this site is new but really has the potenial to start soon to make some really good money with adsense. Once you place your adsense codes in your money box then your adsense will display on your pages with your videos that you have uploaded or embeded, your photo page and your profile . If you want to start a group there then you can also display your adsense on those pages as well.
The next site is called Roatrix Friends network. this site is also a newer community.We have over 1200 members already in less then 2 months here and your adsense will be displayed on your profile ,blogs and any groups you start here as well. There are many other ways to earn at RFN as well like the arcade ...lol yes get paid to play games,then you also earn money for your activity points there and also the Golden Matrix or the Gold Member Upgrade which is only $20.

Both of these site I HIGHLY reccomend to everyone whether you are a newbie or an online guru as you can learn all you need to know or help others learn how too earn money online.

I am really in no way any type of web designer my self . But in my last post I touched on keywords for your websites. Just have to mention a really great website design company Watters Edge I have seen some of his handi work and its awesome. Kyle the owner is a really great guy that will work with you on your website design and get you the look you want with a price you will be pleased with as well.
When you have someone like Kyle set up your own website he is going to help you to get those keywords right for your website. Sometimes its better to talk to a pro about building a website as they have much more knowledge and experience.
I happened to meet Kyle in one of the really awesome communities that I use my adsense on called Dollar Space Which I also have an Adsense 101 group set up there as well.

Keywords yikes

When I mention keywords what is the first thing that goes through your head??? yikes right ... They really are very simple. Yes they are trust me. You know what you want your blog to be about so go to google and yahoo and do a search for the highest paying keywords. Then go to google and yahoo and do a search for the most searched words for the day. Take one or two from both and incorperate them into your blog using them several times each.Let the spider have time to crawl your site and then check out the ads that are running on your blog.I find it very fun to play around with a few keywords just to see what ads will show up .So try it and see how it works for you . I would love to hear how it does so leave a comment on how it works for you .
Websites that you own and keywords. Now here is a whole different ball park. with your website you want to use keywords that pertain to the content you have in your website.So you can still do the searches and check out the keywords but you want to stay inside the content of your website. You don't want ads running for somethng that doesn't pertain to your site as people are coming to your site to look for that product or service. So with adsense you give them some other options if they don't find what they needed at your site.
here is a very funny thing I was playing around with keywords and I have a shopping blog which out of fun I wrote a blog about lung cancer...lol I had ads running on my blog about luing cancer ...now you surely do not want ads running on your blog about shopping about lung cancer do you ... but try a few things play around with a few different keywords.

First Aid Kit for your Blog

Many people start a blog and don't really know where it will go . Well if youa re blogging about something you truly love or have alot of knowledge about then your blog will take you to where it needs to go. I had another reader today ask me to look at her blog , I would be happy to.
The reader said its new and she wants to make an impact with her business prospects with hers.Blogging about your business is a great way to bring knowledge to your customer or soon to be customers. Let them read all about your company who you are what you do and how your company works. Marketing your self along with your business is what blogging can do . What a great free tool to use and also earn with adsense or bidvertiser.
I myself am not a great writer. I say what I want and how I want to. Some times thats not proper english. But with Mindi's blog I can see she has potential with hers.
I had a couple of first aid kit tips for her blog but she is well on her way to making a very successful blog about her business.

Nyactor"s Questions about Indexing

I had a reader ask a question on my post about earning with your blog and adsesne. He states that he has 16 blogs going here at Blogspot.com and wants to know how to get his blogs indexed with google and yahoo.
Very simple to do. Go to www.google.com sign into your account there. Then scroll down to you see webmaster tools. There you will see your dashboard, also a search box add the url of your blog in that box then click add site. Then they will ask you how you want to verify that your are the owner of the blog. There are two different ways the quickest and easiest is to use a meta tag. Use the pull down tab and you will see meta tag click on that and then a code will be shown for you to copy and then go to your blog.
At your blog you will sign into your blogspot dashboard. There you will see template click on that then edit html. Look at the html code and find the first head and body tags and the meta tag will be pasted right there. Then save template. Go back to google and click verify site.
Check back at google.com in an hour or so and you should see that the site has been indexed by google . Google has been running behind here with getting the sites indexed so just keep checking back to see :).

Social Networking Sites and Adsense

Many of are already using many social networking sites that allow us to earn with our adsense. But what happens to our profile once we add the adsense. Well unless we continue to add some new content the ads will continue to be the same old ads. Try adding a new photo once week to your profile or rewrite you about me section. You will be surprised at the difference ads that the google spider will start to add to your profile as for an example here is my profile at Dollar Space see how I have an about me section but I am also adding some photos each week too. If this is one of the sites that you aren;t using for your adsense I do highly reccommend Dollar Space as we have over 1200 members there and growing. Your adsense will run on your profile there as well as your blogs. Which is great because with your blog you can really use some good keywords.

Adsense Revenue Sharing Sites

There has been a number of these sites popping up here on the internet. Some are very good and some are a bit sketchy in their policy. MY advise to you is make sure if you sign up for adsense reveune sharing sites that you read them very carefully and only allow access if you have .
Some of this sites are very trustworthy sites and you don't have to worry about them like Flixya they have just changed over to 100 % ad revenue for your adsense.
Then on the other side of the scale there are a couple that I do not reccommend at all as they get 50% of your adsense earnings.In fact one I joined as per reccommendation from a friend the day I allowed access to my adsense account they showed my toal earning in my adsense account. Now number one that is information they shouldn't have access to too and number two there isn't anyway I am going to give them 50% of my total adsense earnings there.

Earning with Adsense on your blog

Ok so we have touched base on some social sites for your using adsense and bidvertier but how about a blog. Did you know that you can sign up for a blog here at blogspot for free and use adsense on your blog and earn with your adsense while advertising your business? Well let me tell you its a great way to earn with adsense.
Here a a couple of great blogs that can help you see some examples of how to set up your blog and what others are using their blogs for. At Shelia's blog BlueRosestthoughts she talks about many things and look at how beautiful her page is. Take a look at how she has her adsense set up and think about how you can do all of this to earn with adsense as well.
Jianjong uses his blog to show off some awesome videos and photos sites that he uses as well and just look at how he has the links added as well. Look at the difference is how he is using links ads instead.

Social Networking Profiles

The newest craze hitting the internet today is the social networking sites. My Space yes you have heard of it I am sure , but how about a site that caters to online businesses. I use many of these sites myself as way to meet others working online but also because I can use my ADSENSE in them while I am networking with others too .
Rotatrix Friends Network is a newer community that allows you to use adsense on your profile,blogs and any groups you start in their community.
At RFN you can also learn from some great people there that have succeeded in the online business world . I have two adsense groups set up there one is the RFN Adsense group and the other one is the RFN Adsense Elite Group. In the adsense group I have step by step instructions for you to set up your adsense there. Its very easy to do but if you get stumped just send me a message there and I will walk through it with you.

Always when setting up a new site to adsense use a seperate channel . that can be something we will get into at a later date as you can go back after you have added the site to adsense and set them up on to a channel for each so you can kep track of whats earning you money with adsense and what isn't .

Ready To Place Ads

Ok so by now you should have either signed up for an adsense account or a bidvertiser account. Now we are ready to start to place ads on your sites.You will need to copy the url of what ever website ,blog or profile that you want ads to be running on ... then go to adsense account and sign in ... go to adsense set up... there you will see the place to choose you sizes of your ads as well as colors...once you have thsoe done then go next page there is where you want to add channel... place the url in to the box and then click add channel name your channel so you know where it is...then click search. The next page will haev your code for adsense. Copy that code ...then go back to you website,blog or profile ... for your profiles you ned to go to my account... edit profile ... there you will see the boxes for the adsense codes...place the codes into the box and SAVE CHANGES ... take a look and see if the ads are displaying.

Becoming a publisher

When you sign up for an account at adsense or at bidvertiser you become a publisher. Which basically means that you are publishing ads for their advertiers. When anyone clicks on those ads you will earn money.
For adsense there are many sites that you can use to do what they call a revenune share, which is where the site you are using your adsense on gets a % of your earnings from adsense on that site.
I highly reccomend for your first site to try a blog at blogspot.First of all its very easy to start a blog and you don't have to learn how to add the adsense codes right away. But trust me this is something you will need to learn and we will cover all of that here as well.
I have many Adsense groups here listed and you may check out them as well for some great tips and ways to earn with adsense or any advertiser.

Making money with your website and blogs

I myself love using adsense and see no reason why any one with a blog or website shouldn't be using adsense too . I am going to walk you through the whole process from the sign up and there really isn't an end as we can always learn more about adsense as we go.Now earning money with your websites and blogs doesn;t mean you have to use adsense there are many others like bidvertiser,adbrite and YPN.
